What is Stainless Steel 347H Pipe?

A SS 347H pipe is a high carbon austenitic stainless steel grade. The 347H Stainless Steel Pipe is a high-alloy grade designed with a superior chemical content of chromium and nickel with niobium acting as the stabilizing agent. These pipes have enhanced resistance to corrosive and reducing media across harsh conditions. A SS 347H Pipe works well in strong oxidizing conditions and is resistant to intergranular corrosion after repeated exposure to volatile environments. The Stainless Steel 347H Pipe has good creep strength and possesses good low-temperature toughness. The content of carbon in these pipes is between 0.04 to 0.10%, giving them superior strength. Unlike pipes, the Stainless Steel 347H Tube can be produced in a square, round and rectangular shapes. These tubes are stronger than pipes and have longer durability. The Stainless Steel 347H Tubing has a density between 7.7 to 8.03 g/cm3 and possesses a melting range up to 1446 degrees C. This tubing is usually produced in seamless and welded configurations. The DIN 1.4961 Seamless Pipes are produced without any welds and possess a minimum tensile strength of 480mpa with a minimum yield strength of 205mpa.
